Shipping Policy
We appreciate your order — every rifle, upper, and component we sell is assembled, inspected, and prepared by our small team. Because of that hands-on process (and because we also handle customer service, packaging, and FFL paperwork), orders typically follow these timeframes:
• Firearm & Upper processing & build time: 3–7 business days
• Average FFL transfer: depends on your dealer - commonly 1–7 business days
• Standard orders: 1-3 business days
Shipping transit: depends on the carrier, not Overt Industries
Quick note: emailing us about shipping after ordering can slow fulfillment — answering messages takes time away from building and packing orders. If you do need assistance, please include your order number and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
What to expect
• You’ll receive an email confirmation when your order is placed and a second email with tracking when it ships.
• If your order requires FFL paperwork, please have your dealer’s name and contact ready — this helps avoid delays.
Shipping Terms & Conditions
Overt Industries LLC is not responsible for any shipping delays created by the carrier due to weather.
Please note that paying for expedited shipping does not speed up delivery on out of stock items.
Overt Industries LLC ships Monday through Friday - excluding major national holidays.
UPS Remote Area Surcharges
UPS assesses a $30 surcharge for each box to areas in the US considered "Remote Areas". Below is the updated and current tables of zip codes which UPS considers remote areas. If you can ship to a hub not on the list - these charges will not apply.
Our teams will work to get your orders to as quickly and efficiently as possible to lessen interruptions in your supply chain.
A $7.49 shipping fee is charged on orders before tax and shipped to one address within the continental United States..
Delivery Addresses
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all shipping information is entered correctly on orders and at checkout. Our contract with our customer is to ship to the address provided on the order. Overt Industries LLC is not responsible for any delivery address errors that result in lost or missing packages and will not refund any orders that were shipped to the wrong address due to customer error.
International Shipping
Overt Industries LLC does not sell to any customers outside of the United States of America.
Shipping Policy Exceptions
Not all products qualify for the above Shipping Policy. Fuel surcharges may be applied. Overt Industries LLC does not ship to PO Box addresses.
Expedited Shipping Rules
To expedite shipping, Overt Industries LLC must receive your order before 2pm (EST) Monday–Friday. Customer is responsible for additional fees to expedite orders when shipping. All expedited orders must weigh less than 125 lbs, and not contain any hazardous materials. Expedited orders only ship on business days; any orders placed on Saturdays/Sundays/Holidays will be processed on the next business day. Delivery Issues & Claims
Claims for discrepancies in shipment must be made within 7 days of receipt/delivery of merchandise to the original shipment address or they will not be accepted.
C.O.D. returns will not be accepted.
Billing Address and Shipping Address Policy
To combat fraudulent purchases, any order that do not have a matching billing address and shipping address are subject to further verification. Our customer service team will contact you and request that the customer submit a copy of a valid state issued identification card with matching legal name and shipping address listed on the state issued identification card. If they do not match or if the customer does not not provide the requested documentation, the order will be cancelled accordingly.

It is the customer’s responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws before purchasing any firearm, firearm component, magazine, suppressor, or other regulated product from Overt Industries.
While we make every effort to stay current with changing legislation, we cannot guarantee that our website reflects the most recent legal developments in every jurisdiction. As laws change, Overt Industries reserves the right to restrict or discontinue the sale and shipment of certain products to specific states, municipalities, or other jurisdictions at any time and without prior notice.
We continuously monitor legislative changes and update our shipping policies as necessary to remain compliant with applicable laws. If you are unsure whether a product is legal in your area, we encourage you to contact us before placing your order.
