Recommendations for pinned & welded muzzle devices:

Do not remove the suppressor when still warm & without supporting wrenches

While pin & welds are not likely to break, we have seen pin and welds break when the end user attempts to remove the muzzle device while still warm. The heat causes the muzzle device and suppressor mounting components to expand and create a tighter seal. This results in more friction and attempting to remove can break the pin and weld on occasion.

The best solution is to only remove the suppressor after the system has completely cooled and still utilize two wrenches for the removal. Use one wrench to hold the muzzle device in place while using the other wrench (or spanner wrench) to remove the suppressor. This will prevent the muzzle device from turning with the barrel. Breaking a pin and weld will likely result in damage to the barrel threading that cannot be repaired without cutting down the barrel. Thread damage caused by improperly removing a suppressor is not covered under any warranty.
